(hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "the Company"), with technical support, filing, and security services provided by Lu'an Nixue Mengxun Information Technology Co., Ltd., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the former. The Platform is dedicated to providing professional digital resource services to libraries that have signed commercial cooperation agreements (hereinafter referred to as "Partner Libraries") and their authorized users (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "User"). The Platform does not offer services to the public internet; all services are exclusively accessible to authenticated users within the internal network IP segments designated by Partner Libraries.
Before accessing or using the Platform, please read and understand the entire content of this agreement carefully. Any action of you accessing or using the Platform services via an authorized IP segment shall be deemed that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this agreement and all referenced ancillary policies, including consenting to our collection, use, and processing of your information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
1. Service Definition and Authorization Model
1.1 The Platform serves as a unified academic resource portal, with main functions including: resource discovery, metadata retrieval, specialized article viewing, etc.
1.2 Authorized Access: All services of the Platform (including browsing and retrieval) are limited exclusively to use within the IP address segments explicitly authorized in the agreement between the Partner Library and us. Any access requests from non-authorized IP addresses will be rejected by the system. You understand and confirm that your right to access this service is based on the valid agreement reached between your affiliated Partner Library and us.
1.3 Source of Service Content: After authentication through the Platform, the specific digital resources you access (including but not limited to academic databases, journal articles, e-books, patent data, etc., hereinafter referred to as "Specific Resources") are provided directly by their respective content providers (hereinafter referred to as "Resource Providers"). Resource Providers include independent branded resource products operated by our Company, as well as third-party content providers cooperating with our Company. Each Specific Resource is an independent legal and service entity.
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Platform and the Specific Resources accessed through it solely for personal, non-commercial academic research, study, or teaching purposes. You undertake to comply with the following provisions:
2.1 Prohibition of Systematic Scraping and Downloading: Strictly prohibit the use of any automated tools (including but not limited to robots, spiders, crawlers, scripts, data mining tools, or third-party AI-driven similar programs) to systematically access, obtain, copy, monitor, or scrape content, data, or metadata from the Platform or any Specific Resource. Prohibited attempts include circumventing technical protection measures built into the Platform or any resource.
2.2 Prohibition of Unauthorized Integration and Resale:
Integration Prohibition: Strictly prohibit embedding, integrating, or incorporating any part of the Platform (including but not limited to the user interface, API interfaces, deep links, service functions, or any output content thereof) in any form (such as iframe, SDK, plugin, hardware bundling, etc.) into any third-party commercial hardware or software products. Any form of such integration behavior must obtain our prior explicit written authorization.
Resale Prohibition: Strictly prohibit you and your affiliated Partner Library from reselling, commercially distributing, renting, lending, transferring, or establishing mirror services for the Platform services, any part thereof (including access rights), or any Specific Resource content obtained through the Platform, in any form. Any form of such resale behavior must obtain our prior explicit written authorization.
2.3 Compliant Retrieval: When using the search function of the Platform, you may only enter keywords or phrases related to academic research. Strictly prohibit entering any personally identifiable information (such as name, ID number, phone number, email address, etc.), sensitive information (such as biometrics, medical records, financial information), or any illegal, defamatory, obscene, or threatening content. Violation of this clause will be considered a material breach of this agreement and illegal use.
2.4 Reasonable Use: You shall adhere to internationally recognized "fair use" principles and shall not engage in any large-scale, concentrated downloading activities that may impair the performance of the Platform or Resource Provider systems, interfere with normal use by other users, or create an unreasonable load.
3. Intellectual Property Statement
The intellectual property involved in the Platform is as follows, and you should fully respect and comply with it:

Without our prior explicit written authorization, any reproduction, modification, adaptation, public display, distribution, decompilation, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Resource Product Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights for the Specific Resource content accessed through the Platform (including but not limited to copyrights for articles, images, charts, data, software, and videos) belong to their respective Resource Providers, or are subject to their own marked license terms (such as the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license CC BY-NC). Even if the Resource Provider is our Company, the relevant resources may be operated as independent products and are subject to their specific End User License Agreements, Terms of Service, and copyright statements.
3.3 Open Source Components: The Platform may use third-party open-source software or frameworks in its development. The copyrights of these components belong to their original authors and are subject to their respective open-source license terms (such as MIT, Apache 2.0, GPL, etc.). The texts of the relevant open-source licenses are usually declared in the headers of the corresponding code.
4. Privacy Policy
4.1 Information Collection:
- No Personal Accounts: The Platform does not have a user registration system for end-readers; therefore, it does not collect personal account information such as your name, student/staff ID, or password.

- Fulfilling compliance obligations required by laws, regulations, and industry supervision.
4.3 Third-Party Privacy Policies: You specifically note that when you navigate from this Platform to a Specific Resource, that Resource Provider will handle your usage information directly according to its independent privacy policy. Regarding how third parties collect, use, and protect your data, please be sure to consult their respective privacy policies directly. The Platform assumes no responsibility for the privacy practices of such third parties.
4.4 Your Responsibility: You are responsible for actively protecting your personal privacy and avoiding entering any personal information in the Platform's search bar or other publicly accessible areas.
5. Disclaimer
5.1 The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim any warranties, express or implied, regarding the continuity, timeliness, security, or accuracy of the Service.
5.2 We assume no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any Specific Resource accessed through the Platform. The views expressed in the resource content represent only the positions of the original authors or providers and do not represent the views of the Platform.
5.3 We shall not be liable for any service interruptions, data loss, or consequential losses arising from force majeure, computer viruses, network attacks, system instability, third-party service failures, or government actions.
6. Breach and Termination of Access
If we discover or reasonably suspect that you have violated any term of this agreement, or violated any third-party agreement of a Specific Resource, we have the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to take one or more of the following measures:
- Restrict or permanently terminate your permission to access services through the Platform.

7.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiations between the parties. If negotiation fails, either party has the right to submit the dispute to the competent people's court in the place where the Platform operating company is located for resolution through litigation.
7.4 Severability: If any provision of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be deemed modified from the outset to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable and closest to the original intent, without affecting the continued validity of the remaining provisions of this agreement.
